FAQ 5: What’s the difference between a network and non-network charger?

Network chargers are like cell phones – they connect to a network. They “speak” to one another and can be remotely accessed by you.
They provide “services”, such as: the opportunity to recoup your electrical costs by debiting drivers; the ability to reserve a charging session; and the option to charge different driver groups at different rates.

FAQ 6: What are important network services?

  • Reliable, Canadian support -- 24/7.
  • Debit drivers for charging.
  • Control who charges thru. authentication.
  • Reserve charging sessions remotely.
  • Set different rates for different driver groups.
  • Increase charging rates remotely.
  • Monitor charging sessions.
  • Access reports on charging metrics.

FAQ 7: Does one pay for network services?

  • All brands charge for network services but some are more affordable than others.
  • Some brands retain a percentage of charging revenue before paying the station owner the balance. Other brands do not.

FAQ 8: How do I charge my EV?

Step 1: Download the app.
Step 2: Locate nearest charger on the map.
Step 3: Reserve charging session (if brand has this feature).
Step 4: Authenticate using your phone or RFID card.
Step 5: Plug in and charge!
